The 2013 Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge is a 10 mile International event which has developed significantly since the opening event in 2010 which attracted close to 500 participants. The event takes place on Easter Saturday (30th March)

Organized by Irish Olympic Team manager Patrick McGonagle this is fast becoming one of Ireland's top running events in one of the most spectacular venues on the country. The event is held against the backdrop of the Isle Of Doagh, Lagg, Malin and the local iconic landmark that is Glashedy finishing on Pollan Beach. Participants can run, walk or jog this beautiful course.

This years event also extends an invitation to all voluntary organisations in the Inishowen area to use the Coastal challenge as a conduit for raising finance for their club,association etc. The race route can be viewed on youtube as can a promo video completed for 2011 which gives a flavour .

The Ballyliffin International 10 Mile Coastal Challenge is building a national /international reputation and no doubt 2013 will be the best ever.
